Walking Daily in the Temple

Welcome to walking daily in the temple. This is your opportunity to further discuss and learn from today's message. The Bible commands us to "rightly divide the Word of truth." (2 Tim. 2:15) It also says "iron sharpens iron." (Proverbs 27:17) Through discussion of the Word we can better understand it therefore, allow it to truly become life in our life. Bishop continues the 30 Min or less theme with forgiveness. Let's talk about it.

1. HAVE FAITH IN GOD this seems like Christian 101 but is it?

2. Deciding what you don't want why?

3. Confirm and commit to what you want/desire

4. Now what about forgiving . When you stand praying .

5. Unliited forgiveness. Explain

6. How many times do we need to be forgiven daily?

7. It comes back to the Word. Explain that process

I am sure everyone has some input they can shar on this!

Forgiveness is such a powerful truth that we don't know how crucial it is to our deliverance, to our freedom and to our future. Without forgiveness we will never escape our past, without forgiveness we will never be free. As Bishop said today without forgiving others we ourselves won't be forgiven.
How many times do we forget to forgive ourselves and we keep ourselves in bondage by what we have done forgiveness starts with ourselves and it continues on to each person and every person we meet. We all need it is what Jesus came to do he came to forgive sins. When sins are forgiven the past is gone bondage is broken and we can be what God called and created us to be.

I love how Bishop brought last weeks message on how to get what you want in 30 minutes or less and showed us the key to making sure we don't stop it, forgiveness. As I was hearing this message, I literally could recall different times, even in recent months, where what I wanted was not happening because I was so focused on someone else that I thought had done me some injustice, etc. When I finally laid aside these perceived injustices, and finally let them go, the very thing I wanted (which was usually related to my eyes being opened to something) I go itt. As long as my prayers were mingled with all this unforgiveness (that I didn't label as that at first) then God couldn't do anything accept point out where I was going wrong. Forgiveness is Christianity 101 and yet we still have to purpose to forgive every day, all day, no matter what it is we think we were wronged about. I like how Bishop brought out what forgiveness is---let it go, lay it aside---we don't really forgive as long as we keep bringing up thoughts about a wrong and handle it over and over--that is not letting it go---boy did I learn that lesson!

Great message by Bishop Sunday. I told him I was set free! I remember reading the portion of scripture he presented to my wife. ( Mark 11:25-26). It was good when I first read it but then I was tried in that area. (forgiveness). After hearing the message I knew that I had unforgiveness in my heart. I have decided what I wanted and I am going to commit to it. We have to forgive our brothers and sisters 490 times a day. And be specific to God when it comes to telling him who we are forgiving. It is our lifestyle! I forgive!

Wow!!! This was one of those messages. I was joking with Bishop after the message that he finally preached a message I didn't like, but it was a message that I really needed. Lol! The reason I didn't like it is because I know I need to change some things in my life.

Right before service Bishop was asking me how I was doing and I started talking about one of my daughters and how she has been a challenge for me lately. Looking back over the last couple of months I see that it has affected me in different aspects of my life, especially emotionally and my thoughts.

However, after this message I see that I need to forgive because she doesn't see or understand what she is doing yet. This revelation doesn't mean that my job gets any easier, because it is still my job to train her up in the way she should go. However, if I forgive her then it won't effect my emotions so much. Which, keeps my mind clear to train the way God wants, verses being led by my emotions.

As this week has been progressing, it is easier to see why we need to forgive people. They really don't see their actions. Which reminds us that God forgives us, because we really don't see our actions according to His Word. If we don't forgive them, then He doesn't have to forgive us.

It truly was an amazing message!!!! Practical way to Let the Word become life in our lives.

I personally needed to hear this message. This message has touched me in so many ways.

I let the things people say and do affect me. I don't forgive right away and the first I Don't do is pray. I carry the wrong doings of people with me and I let it affect my state of mind. Sunday after hearing this message I declared to myself that I would no longer walk as a prisoner in my own emotions because of the actions of others. I would never go higher and never have the fullness of the joy of God if I continue to not forgive. God is forgiveness! His son gave his life so that we could be forgiven. How am I suppose to be an example of God to others when forgiveness and standing in prayer don't come first. I put myself in his bondage because that's what it really is... I like what Bishop said when he said and forgive me if I'm not quoting it right... "God can't save you into bondage but He can save you out of bondage"...
I have to choose to do the right thing.

I read and concur with your messages ! I am sorry it took so long to reply. I just want to plant one seed in your thinking, Jesus said "forgive them for they know not what they do.

Forgiveness is much easier when we ask god to show us what is going on with that person. We are all on different places in oujr journey and different levels if understanding and walking with God. It really can be much easier when we realize , :"Ya know they just don't get it forgive them Father and I pray for understanding to come their way in Jesus name Amen:" Love you all roll on with Jeus and thank you for letting this word become life in your lives!
