Focus For The Month:
Scripture Focus For The Month
This month I want to focus on: “The Fullness of Joy!”

Adar is the happiest, most joyous month of the Hebrew calendar. In fact, its motto is "When Adar comes, joy is increased." Adar begins this year at sunset February 27th. The abundance of joy in Adar is primarily due to the holiday commemorating the salvation of the Jewish People from a genocidal plot by the wicked Haman. Because of Esther's fasting and repentance, they were able to have his plot overturned.

As you meditate on, pray and decree the scriptures about joy, expect joy to increase daily. As the joy of the Lord is restored and brought to it’s fullness you will find new strength to endure the battles and enter into the everlasting joy that the Lord has promised to those that please Him.

Whatever “plot” the enemy has had for you will be overturned and the Lord will put you on the “Path of Life” where is His Presence and Joy.

Esther 9:22 As the days wherein the Jews rested from their enemies, and the month which was turned unto them from sorrow to joy, and from mourning into a good day:

I John 1:4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

Isaiah 29:19 The meek also shall increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

Isaiah 51:11 Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow shall flee away.

Ecclesiastes 2:26 For God gives those who please him wisdom, knowledge, and joy;

Psalm 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Nehemiah 8:10 for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross,

Prayer Focus:
  • Pray that many will see the joy that is set before us.
  • Pray that your sorrow will be turned into joy.
  • Pray for strength to endure “your cross” looking for the joy that is set before you.
  • Pray that as you humble yourself, you will increase in joy on a daily basis.
  • Pray that you will find the Path of Life wherein is the presence of the Lord, fullness of joy, and pleasures forevermore.
  • Pray that everlasting joy will be upon your head, sorrow will flee away, that you will obtain gladness, and come before the Lord with singing.
