"CHOOSE MONTH"

"Lyar the Awareness to Choose Month"

As we walk this journey from Egypt to Sinai and as we count up the days of the omer, we have many opportunities to Choose Wisely. We will choose what we take with us into the rest of the year. Ask yourself with every decision, is this choice on the "Straight Path" which leads to life, blessing and the purpose of God for my life. Or will it lead to a path of death, cursing, wickedness and away from Gods purpose for my life?

QUESTIONS FOR DISCUSSION:

  1. What are some things in your life right now you realize you must choose?

  2. What was your "aha" moment in the message?

In His Service,

Bishop Bill

1. What are some things in your life right now you realize you must choose?

-One thing that God has shown me this week is to choose forgiveness. Forgive the things in the past and the things that are to come. It's the only way to continue forward in His plan. And also choose to trust Him because He's the One who makes the way. And before each choice that I make, I will ask "Is this something that pleases God, or is this something that displeases God?" And spend more time so I can know more of what pleases/displeases Him by practicing more to hear His voice more clearly.

2. What was your "aha" moment in the message?

Like Pastor Riley's motto is 'It's A Choice'. Every day we wake up to choices. As soon as our eyes open we choose to get up and get ready or 5 more minutes of sleep. It's our choice. And depending on our choices can depend on how our day goes. If we choose to get up when we were supposed to we found out that our car battery was dead and we had time to charge it. But if we choose to stay in bed we are in a rush because that 5 extra minutes turned into 10 and now we are running late. Then that's when you found out your car battery is dead making you that much later.…

Montana, THANK YOU for CHOOSING the light, as you said. I absolutely loved your post and the realness you brought with what you have been choosing and how by choosing God, you are changing. POWERFUL! It can be as simple as, what do YOU want me to read today Father and not reading our favorite book. Sometimes we over complicate things and yet your post reminded me how simple serving God and being His really is when we get our head out of the way. Great post!

Choose Month! Awareness to choose. Thank you Bishop for this message, for bringing to our attention that it really is an everyday choice.

What are some things in your life right now you realize you must choose?

The one that scream at me is in regards to why I’m called to do with Bringing Awesome Messages- I have to choose to put in the work. Before we began work on the first presentation, I said to God over and over that “I don’t want to put in that much work, I’d rather just go do something that’s already established.” But that’s not what God is doing, so choose. Choose to make the space to hear and see what’s next. Choose…

Choosing... Some things that we do because well we have to and then there's things that we choose to do because well that's what we choose to do when we want to. I have to do the dishes because if I don't have a plate there's nothing to put the food on. I can do the dishes because I have to or I can do the dishes because I choose to. If I do because I have to I won't want to do them the entire time of doing them but if I choose to do them because I see the purpose in it I understand the necessity the value of doing it my choice changes me in the doing.
