JESUS WAS A FRIEND TO SINNERS
Matthew 11:19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.
The Pharisees misjudged Jesus’ way of evangelizing.
Luke 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
Jesus taught a parable about Asking, Seeking, and Knocking, clearly comparing it to helping a friend rather than asking for yourself, as it is normally taught.
QUESTIONS FOR DISCUSSION:
1. What is the parable of ask, seek, and knock really about?
2. What is the greatest evangelism story in the Bible?
3. Why did Jesus command us to give our testimony?
4. How do we reach the “Not Yet” friends?
5. What was your aha moment in this message?
Looking forward to our discussion.
