Why Is It Important?
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth.
Isaiah 66:1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool:
Psalms 24:1 The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
Psalms 33:8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
Through scripture, we understand that the Earth is firm, dry land, while the world encompasses its inhabitants, governments, structures, and beliefs.
We are commanded to "Go" into all the world and preach, not go into all the earth. We don’t have to take a mission trip to a location to preach, because the world is everywhere we go.
DEFINITION OF WORLDVIEW IN OXFORD'S DICTIONARY
A largely unconscious but generally coherent set of presuppositions and beliefs that every person has, which shape how we make sense of the world and everything in it.
You Have a Worldview Whether You Realize It or Not!

1.Did you discover your worldview and understand its importance?
Yes. And I haven't thought about it in categories before this message. When looking at each of the worldviews, I see myself in a little bit of each of them. I DO remember the moment in my life where all of a sudden I realized God had something totally different than those worldviews. His Biblical worldview is SO set apart from the "earthly/fleshly" worldviews. His view is "out of of this world!" And it's important to know that there is a difference, because we should just care about what God says about everything. If His people are set apart, that means they think, speak, and act differently than the rest of…
Did you discover your worldview and understand its importance? I did and it wasn’t as it once was. I feel it is more mixed that I thought.
How did this message change your worldview? It changed my worldview by making me realize my worldview needs to be modified and enlarged.
.
How big is your worldview based on your daily routine? My worldview is not as big as it should be. It seems pretty small.
What was your “aha” moment during the message? My “aha” moment was really understanding what God’s definition of the world is. Not that I didn’t know, but maybe lost sight of it.
I discovered that my worldview is more mixed than I would have thought. And perhaps that’s because I never thought about it too hard or inspected it very closely. But the realization of how much of my belief system has been shaped from experience(es) instead of the Word of God shook me. And the fact is that it’s too late in the game to look at the world through tainted glasses. Too much rides upon it. I’m so thankful that change, reshaping, and taking on His viewpoint is available and at hand.
Based on my daily routine my world view has been pretty small. But the boarders of my view got kicked wide open (which is my “what changed” and…
Did you discover your worldview and understand it's importance?
Yes and no, This message was kind complex message and to be totally honest I still am thinking about it . So is our view on the world the same as opinions of the world. How are we responding to stuff happening in other countries or here at home in the "US" so I guess I am trying to get to how God views us in "his world" so I need to remember it's God's and we need to remind people that.
How did this message change your worldview?
Don't put trust in the world as much as put our trust in God. The world is God's creation and so are…
Did you discover your worldview and understand its importance?
Yes. Since the enemy has had an influence he has been trying to explain life without God and formed a view that removes God from all of the perspectives and influences.
So it's important to recognize this or some of that influence will sneak in and we will have a view without God in it in some portion of our existence.
How did this message change your worldview?
This is a great reminder to recognize that there is a constant battle between good and evil and if I am not aware a view will begin to take residents in my thinking in my approach that is void of God and this…
